ZAdisc is a permanent magnet synchronous, gearless disc rotor motor for traction sheave cable elevators without a machine room. The ZAdisc elevator machine, which meets all requirements of the Lift Directive 2014/33/EU, increases the performance and travel comfort of the elevator system. Thanks to the motor’s flat design and ability to be mounted to the guide rails, ZAdisc helps to achieve optimum shaft dimensions.

ZAsyn is a permanent magnet synchronous, gearless external rotor drive that was specially developed for traction sheave rope elevators with and without a machine room. The motors from the ZAsyn model range offer high energy efficiency and low-noise operation and comply with the provisions of the Lift Directive 2014/33/EU. The shaft dimensions can be optimised thanks to their flat design and ability to be mounted on the wall of the elevator shaft.

The permanent magnet synchronous, gearless internal rotor drive ZAtop was developed for traction sheave cable elevators with and without machine rooms. Motors from the ZAtop model range are available in various sizes: as a motor for a home lift as well as a motor for lifts with high speeds, a high load-bearing capacity and high travel distance. The internal rotor motors offer excellent energy efficiency, low-noise running characteristics and meet all requirements of the Lift Directive 2014/33/EU.

The ZAtopx elevator machine is a gearless motor for elevators with or without a machine room, which relies on a flat belt as a suspension means. As a result, the dimension s of traction shafts and deflection pulleys have been reduced to 100 mm, which makes these drives even more compact. ZAtopx is therefore the ideal basis for compact, quiet-running elevators and offers reliable ZIEHL-ABEGG quality in a small space.
